The research question I was exploring during my project was:

How can participatory workshops enhance social connection, notions of identity and belonging for adults whose first language is not English?

• Exploring the theme of belonging through mixed media to increase social connection and belonging in a group setting.

• Understanding how mixed media can contribute towards increasing empathy and multicultural awareness.

• Increasing awareness about the needs of multilingual and multicultural students in higher education settings.

• Increase positive emotions and enjoyment.

Sut gall gweithdai cyfranogol wella cysylltiad cymdeithasol,  hunaniaeth a pherthyn i oedolion nad Saesneg yw eu hiaith gyntaf?

• Archwilio thema perthyn trwy gyfryngau cymysg i gynyddu cysylltiad cymdeithasol a pherthyn mewn lleoliad grŵp.

• Deall sut y gall cyfryngau cymysg gyfrannu at gynyddu empathi ac ymwybyddiaeth amlddiwylliannol.

• Cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth o anghenion myfyrwyr amlieithog ac amlddiwylliannol mewn lleoliadau addysg uwch.

• Cynyddu emosiynau cadarnhaol a mwynhad.
